The Sims 2 Install problems

Hey

as you can see I am new here so if I am in the wrong forum just let me know.

Question and I am hoping to get a quick reply.

I cannot get past the CD key entry with the Sims 2.

I enter the cd key that I was given and when I click next it comes up with the message,
" are you sure that you want to quit install" Yes or No

When I click no, it takes me back to the CD key entry that i was just at and if I repeat this process I am given the same options.

if i click Yes then the message disappears and nothing happens.

Has anyone got any suggestions or has anyone expreienced this at all

If this a legit copy of the game then go to the sims website and contact them.

If this is a coppied or downloaded version, then we cannot help you.

i think that he did ****** it, but if its retail then go back to the store u got it from and get another copy

no I did not copy it. I got it through a promotion through a pizza joint. You got a game (underground 2, sims 2 or something else.

It came in the EA company game box and not some inferior copy.

I will just have to take it back and get another copy and try out round two

I did not mean to imply that you had done anything wrong. Only we do get a few people on here asking for help with pirated software.

If you take the game back and get another copy, let us know how you get on.
