Trippy monitor-projector problem

Hey,

I will get straight to the point, Basically my setup is i have my pc going into a databox/videospliter on the wall with RCA, Svideo, Phono, usb, serial and 2 vga connectors.

So my pc is going into the VGA1 on the databox and the monitor is going ino VGA2. The data box leads to a projector. So it will automatically send video to the projector while also sending it back to the monitor, so there is a clone display.

Now, heres the problem, It seems whenever i run a dvd, especially on full screen the monitor starts to flicker very fast but the projector never flickers or anything.

It also seems to happen when i just have alot of windows open (it could be anything from a few internet explorers open to just a few explorer windows open)

But the projector never flickers, and the monitor starts to flicker like crazy!

Any ideas ot advice are welcome!!

Have you tried running the monitor directly from the computer? Does it flicker then? If not, the data box is attenuating the monitors input frequencies
