I just purchased a new Core 2 PC, it came with XP home. XP Home is perfect for the children to run games.
I prefer XP Pro, and have a legal copy from the old PC that is to be discarded.
I want to create a dual boot system and used Partician Magic to create a volume X:.
When I change directory and put the XP Pro into the DVD / CD, I get an error message something about trying to install an older version and it will not install.
How can I get around this failure to install problem?
Sooner or later I will have some corruption issue on the home version and XP Pro will permit me to quickly fix the issue.
