Urgent Media Help!

i duno y but all of a sudden all my media application such as: windows media player, power dvd and nero show time have stopped working they begin opening up and then jus freeze to not responding i duno wots da matter pls help

It could be almost anything causing your problem!! We need to know what you have already checked out and if there any other symptoms!!!
