Virus on Windows 2000 OS

I need help. I'm am attempting to fix Windows 2000NT that has viruses. I believe I have several viruses, ran Norton 2005 and deleted a trojan and another worm. However, I still can't get taskmanager up and running as it should. I currently get the taskmanager window and end a process, but task manager is not reading all programs running and will not disappear after ending a task. This is more than I had before.

I am currently rerunning norton in a safe mode. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
