Hello,

Had a W2k crash and reboot with this information in the Mini-dump file:

Bugcheck code 0000000A
Arguments 000001a8 00000002 00000001 80448c3d

I've attached the file.

Any ideas what this is telling me?

Thanks,

-Tom

0xA errors are either caused by hardware or a driver attempting to access an IRQ Level it has no right to. The problem is that this information is not provided in your .txt document.

In your next post attach the file (not the folder) of your minidump and I'll see if i can read it.

Sorry, Tom, but my WinDebugger didn't have any more luck finding information than what you posted. Again, because this error can point either to hardware or drivers the possibilities are many.

I would run memtest on your memory as a good standard diagnostic step.

www.memtest.org. Make sure you run it for a minimum of 7 Passes and if you have any errors you have corrupted memory that needs to be replaced.
