What graphics card should I get?

OK so my family is getting a new computer... I was just thinking about what graphics card I should get...

My family plays tons of videogames and watches many movies, I imagine we need a good graphics card in our new computer, what do you suggest?

Now is the time to decide if you want to go DVI-D with HDCP.

I don't know what your asking,so i have to guess.
I'm explaining that it depends on the monitor you have or will get.
CRT or LCD.
And your motherboard slots for the video.
PCI,PCIx or AGP.
