Windows 7 startup endless loop after W7 update & system restore

Hi,

I have a Dell XPS 8500, OEM Windows 7 64-bit installed, nvidia geforce GT640.
I did a Windows update last week but I stop halfway due to thunderstorm, I did a system restore and then continue Windows update the next day.

now my PC restart automatically after a few hours, so I did another system restore but this time the system restore was not successful, and now my PC is stuck in endless restarting cycle.

Can someone assist me? thank you in advance!

That was an awkward situation but you should have let Windows finish updating. Interrupting a Windows update has a high risk of screwing up the OS. You could try booting up in Safe mode but I think you may have to reinstall Windows. Hopefully someone has a better suggestion.

If Windows 7 came installed on your PC, you might try contacting Dell support for specific instruction for 'system repair'.

A system restore probably won't work at this point, and a factory restore may be the only choice now...
