Windows AeroSnap feature - hollow box instead of moving window

Hi there,

Sorry if this is in the wrong forums.

For some reason, when I move my programs by the top title bar, (i.e. not just windows explorer but also chrome etc.) instead of the whole window moving, I only get a faint outline to where the new position will be. How do I reverse this?

Sounds like the "Show window contents while dragging" option has been disabled.

Thank you so much! This is exactly what was wrong. I don't know how it happened since I've never seen these options before but it is all fixed. Weird thing is, the box was checked, but checking and unchecking the box fixed it.

No problem, glad it worked for you.

That normally means an app changed it for some reason and just set the reg key back. Some times that fails.
