It is a nice system and runs stable. I would hate to mess that up (I have a dual core workhorse which has been running almost continuously for 6.5 years - useful). Did you find anything on the CDs?

My most recent system is a Dell Precision T3500 with a 3 Ghz quad core Xeon w/ Win7- bought used on eBay for total under $120. There are some amazingly low prices on >5yr old systems coming off lease. Sellers with 10k (>99%) positive ratings seem reliable.
