Windows not login

i have a windows xp sp2. when i trun on my computer, computer will start on welcome screen. Then i click my user name to being windows but my computer start again user name screen.again "to being ,click your user name " screen display. if you know about this problem please suggest me.

Does Safe Mode work?
(You can access Safe Mode by pressing F8 key before Windows startup)

If Safe Mode works, try Checkdisk in Safe Mode: https://www.techspot.com/vb/post672297-2.html

If you cannot even get to Safe Mode, then you could try Check Disk on the Recovery Console, using your XP CD:
Just use your Windows CD and boot from it
Select the first R prompt, to log into the recovery console
Press 1 then Enter
Then type: chkdsk C: /f then press enter

Try that initial suggestion, and let me know
