Windows Vista or XP

I bought a Gateway laptop (MT6841) about 2 weeks ago, the last couple of days, twice now, when I boot up, I get the Blue Screen, it goes so fast I cant read it. It goes through its repair process and then it works fine, I know Vista is having problems, I'm wondering if I should replace Vista with XP. I hardly ever have any problems with XP.

They wouldn't ship a machine with Vista if it had any compatibility issues.
Either you messed something up with Windows or you have hardware problems.

Take the machine back to the shop and let it be checked under warranty.
