Im using a laptop (compact) and any external hard drive I connect to my USB port it does not work at all. Since I want to put data onto my external. Im using Windows Vista. Through Device manager it displays my external as working properly but Vista fails to display it via My Computer or go into it so I could use it. It says it failed to install the driver but it's ready to use although I cant use it. Anyone can help me on this? thanks
