WinDVD Creater Burning Help

I can't seem to burn a DVD with WinDVD Creater. I have tried DVD-R, DVD-RW and DVD+R.

It doesn't recognize any of them. It says there is no DVD in the drive.

What kind of DVD are you suppose to use to burn to.

Is WinDVD Creator burner software? I thought it was only for playing DVD's on a DVD player.
You need RecordNow, Sonic, Nero, Roxio, or CDCreator to do the burning, methinks. But I haven't looked at WinDVD in a long time.

WinDVD Creator Burning

The WinDVD Creator is also for burning CD's or DVD's but I have also tried Nero and it will not recognize DVD-R, DVD-RW or DVD+R either when I put them in my E: drive.

My drive is a DVD-Rewritable and DVD-R DL It also says DVD R/W which is probable the same thing.

I should note that I have burned CD's in both programs.
