XP VGA controller issue

Hi

i have a dell inspiron 6000 laptop and had to install a new hard drive with windows xp, i have all the updates and drivers installed except the VGA controller. When i try and install the drivers from my dell disk and also more upto date drivers from the dell website the program starts but after i click next i get a message 'one or more files required for installation are either missing or corupt'

were am i going wrong?

Get the VGA driver from here:
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Home/NoDefaultOS

You will have to pick either the ATI or Intel driver. There should be an ATI decal on the laptop if it has the ATI video controller
