Yahoo email problems

Last couple days Yahoo email downloads on my desktop at home but won't open any rec'd emails - although they are listed in the inbox - and the calendar at the bottom won't load and I can't create any new emails to send.

The rest of Yahoo works fine, as does everything else I open on the net.

Have Charter cable internet - the cable phone & tv work fine too.

At work, my personal laptop works fine on the same Yahoo email account
as does my work desktop on the work intranet.

The problem machine has AVG Security Suite which has been working fine for nearly a year.

With Mr Mike Flynn's most welcome assistance I just got my laptop working to hook back up to the net again, he helped me really clean out ZA.

Now this - just started yesterday.

Is it some virus or malware, or what else could it be?

Well, problem solved. I'm an "oldster" and therefore naturally resistant to change.
Well, finally broke down and installed the new FF, Yahoo version.

Eureka! Things work again!!

Now just to figure out how all this works.

Whatever it was, problem solved.

What a relief!
