really only option since if you call it in to catch them in the act never happens as they show up 45 min after they left.. I dont think people realize how life changing and terrible it is to be woken up at 6am everyday by a car honking by your bedroom or a muffler rumbling your whole home. even earplugs wont fix that. but wtf should I have to wear earplugs at night when I sleep anyways?

We hear something loud....we just deal with it and move on with our day. I certainly wouldnt want to invite invasive camera systems into my city that can charge me money because they THINK I made a noise over it.

It's like everyone has collectively forgotten the whole reason FLOCK cameras became a thing, now they are inviting it again with microphones because loud cars upset them. Then once its revealed that the microphones record more then just loud sounds, that people are receiving tickets for things they did not do (and its harder to prove, you say your car isnt noisy, do you now have to have a test done at your own expense to prove this? How do we deal with false tickets?) then everyone will be up in arms about privacy and being recorded AGAIN.

Those who are willing to trade privacy for security deserve neither.
