Benchmarks: Atto Disk Benchmark
The Intel SSD 520 Series 240GB maxed out a 502MB/s in our Atto Disk Benchmark read test making it the fastest SF-2281 based SSD tested, delivering 7% more performance than the OCZ Vertex 3 240GB. The only drive to deliver more performance was the Crucial m4 512GB which was 7% faster.
When measuring the write performance the Intel SSD 520 Series 240GB maxed out a 502MB/s whereas drives such as the OCZ Vertex 3 240GB went on to reach 518MB/s making it 3% faster. It is interesting to note that the SSD 520 Series 240GB maxed out at 502MB/s for both the read and write Atto Disk Benchmark tests when working with 128K data.
