Benchmarks: Dirt 3, Far Cry 3

Dirt 3 is starting to show its age as the GTX 780 Ti delivered 105.4fps at 2560x1600 for 23% better results than the GTX 780, 10% faster than the R9 290X and 14% faster than the R9 290.

Of course, Gigabyte's GTX 780 Ti OC was even faster at 118.2fps, 38% quicker than the GTX 780 and 24% faster than the R9 290X, while the company's GHz Edition rendered 103.1fps, which works out to just 2% slower than the standard GTX 780 Ti and 20% faster than the GTX 780 as well as 8% faster than the R9 290X and 11% faster than the R9 290.

The GTX 780 Ti averaged 54.9fps in Far Cry 3 at 2560x1600, earning it a 26% lead over the GTX 780, 17% on the R9 290X and 24% over the R9 290. The GTX 780 Ti OC was just 2% faster than the standard GTX 780 Ti this time, while the GHz Edition offered a 17% performance jump from the standard GTX 780 and 8% from the R9 290X.
