Integrating with the latest versions of Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Opera browsers, Linkman gives you the power to efficiently organize bookmarks and favorites! Linkman is a standalone, browser independent bookmark organizer, search tool, and dead link checker. Add links from browsers, and Linkman will retrieve keywords and descriptions automatically! Not only can Linkman organize your bookmarks, it can also help you detect and eliminate duplicate and dead links from your bookmark collection. You get the choice to organize your bookmarks by keywords only, folders only, or folders and keywords.

Linkman stores bookmarks in XML databases, and is well known for providing 15 years of bookmark data security. It's constantly improved and receives several updates every year.

Bookmark Organizer

Linkman is a bookmark organizer that provides uniform access to bookmarks and favorites across browsers and even multiple computers (pro version). If you add a bookmark in Internet Explorer, you can access the new bookmark also in Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera and vice versa (lite and pro). You get also the ability to import your existing bookmarks into Linkman from all browsers. Linkman is the only bookmarks organizer that is able to maintain the correct IE Favorites order and import Firefox bookmarks including both tags and keywords! Linkman supports up to 10 different import formats and you can even parse any file for bookmarks.

Firefox Bookmarks Organizer

Linkman integrates with the Mozilla Firefox browser (Version 3.x-10.x) in order to replace the Firefox bookmarks. The LinkmanFox Firefox Bookmarks Organizer is installed by default if Linkman detects Firefox on your computer (can be turned off during installation). After installation you can place buttons with Linkman features (like Add Bookmark or Search Bookmarks) on the Firefox toolbar. The Linkman functionality can be also accessed in the Firefox right click menu, and with mini-icons on the Addons Toolbar.

Internet Explorer Favorites Organizer

Linkman offers an optional Internet Explorer Organizer toolbar for a fast access to your bookmarks and favorites. You can either import your IE Favorites into Linkman (recommended) or just load them. The Internet Explorer Favorites Organizer toolbar will enable you to quickly add new bookmarks and search your Linkman database. The two toolbar buttons can be assigned to individual Linkman functions. You can also drag & drop links from webpages to the toolbar to add them to Linkman. In the search field you can use wildcards and operators to combine search terms. AND (default), OR, AND NOT and the '-' sign can be used. Example: a search for network tweak -adsl will find all links containing the keyword network AND the keyword tweak, but NOT containing the keyword adsl.

Google Chrome Bookmarks Organizer

A Google Chrome Bookmarks Organizer Addon is installed by default if Linkman detects Chrome on the computer (can be deselected). You will get a new button on the Chrome toolbar that will enable you to replace the very limited Chrome Bookmarks with Linkman bookmark management functionality. Clicking on the button will display a menu with Linkman functions, for example Search in Linkman. In the search window you can use wildcards and operators to combine search terms. AND (DEFAULT), OR, AND NOT and the '-' sign can be used. Example: a search for bookmarks sync -favorites will find all links containing the keyword bookmarks AND the keyword sync, and at the samt time NOT containing the keyword favorites.

Opera Bookmarks Organizer

An Opera Bookmarks Organizer Addon is installed by default if Linkman detects Opera on the computer (can be deselected). You need at least Opera version 11 in order for the Addon to work. You will get a new button on the Opera toolbar that will enable you to replace the very limited Opera Bookmarks with Linkman bookmark management functionality. Clicking on the button will display a menu with Linkman functions, for example Search in Linkman. In the search window Linkman uses wildcards and operators to combine search terms. AND (default), OR, AND NOT and the '-' sign can be used. Example: a search for cheap computer -apple will find all links containing the keyword cheap AND the keyword computer, but NOT containing the keyword apple.

Optional Desktop Toolbar

The optional Linkman Desktop Toolbar is one of Linkman's most powerful features. It allows you to store, edit, search and launch bookmarks quickly and efficiently. The toolbar offers numerous search and lauching options. New bookmarks can be added by using the menu, the buttons, or drag and dropping them directly from web pages to the toolbar. The size of the toolbar can be changed by clicking on the top edge and holding down and moving the mouse cursor. You can also minimize and expand the toolbar quickly using a button. To enable the toolbar go to the View menu in Linkman's main window.
