I love the Mach-E more and more every time I see that this is what people whine about. You all sound like my 5-year-old niece when she thought Sesame Street changed the name of one of her favorite characters

I just wanted to mention that for all the reasons I'm waiting for the GT, this one is a biggie. The GT has an actual grill.

Could you elaborate on what you are talking about? My car also has various driving modes (Tour, Sport, Track, Snow/Ice and V-mode, which can be customized.) Each is very noticeable in its own setting parameters. Is that what you mean?

Like I've said in my other posts, Lithium batteries are not going to be around forever; I doubt it's practical to convert roadways to "giant slot car tracks." I don't, however, have a great fortune teller that can accurately predict the future. I am sure you do not either.

However, I think your statement "If it isn't easy, then it's not going to happen" is rather short sighted. Landing several manned missions on the Moon was not easy, however, it happened.

This is a very different world now then it was for the moon landing. For lack of a better way to put it this world has become very lazy. At least in the United States. The phrase Work Ethics is almost non existent any more.

You all are missing the main points, range and recharge time!
Even with a max range of 300 miles and the overnight recharge time it is very impractical.
I travel to Chicago from where I live 2-3 times a month. 180-200 miles one way. This is a day trip. With the Mustang-E it would be a costly overnight trip.
Next I go to Texas 3-4 times a year. Depending on location in Texas this is a full 1 or 2 day dive each way. NOT POSSIBLE with with ANY EV.

As for charging in Chicago, I have not found a charging station near the spots that I go. (West and far west suburbs) So I make it there, spend all day at the event and then have to find a charging station and wait hours more for a charge to get home.

As for going to Texas, you are missing the point. a 2 day trip in a gas car turns into a week long trip in an EV. Drive 300 miles, stop and charge with an overnight stay since it takes so long to charge. Then once you get out into west Texas there are NO charging stations once you leave the interstate.

No it would not. Round trip is close to 400 miles. From the article " It can travel between 211 and 305 miles or 340 to 490 kilometers on a single charge." There for a stop to charge would be needed.

The nearest one to my next event in the Chicago area is a mile away. So I should show up at the event, unload my stuff and leave it unattended while I walk back and then repeat this after the event?

My next event it is 11 1/2 miles one way to the nearest charging station.

Yes I sometimes do need to stop to refuel. It takes all of 10 minutes to pump a full tank. Cant charge in that amount of time.

This rate is about 30 miles of range per hour." I am seeing 14 HOURS for level 2 and 10 HOURS for what I am guessing is a level 3.

Second most if you stick around major metro areas like Dallas and Houston.

Of course that is true, but are there any cars there even worth more than 10K? EV's will not be an issue there for quite some time. On the other hand, Terlingua? With their population of 108 and among the worst crime rates in the entire country? Talk about cherry-picking.

No need to, it's actually just outside the town limits at Big Bend Stables.
Maybe they use some electric vehicles. Or are planning to. It says right now the 240 source is the Hotel not the stables itself.

Hell, I love to ride, so I may go there after I decide what vehicle I want to get.
