Seeing how is new 9000 Radeon series showing, I really wish AMD went and made a big , high end GPU.

Consoles not being on the Steam survey is exactly the point....Steam tracks PC hardware, not closed platforms. Handhelds like the Steam Deck use AMD because AMD offers cheap, integrated APU solutions that fit those devices, not because they dominate performance desktops.
And yes, the Steam Hardware Survey isn’t perfect, but it’s still the largest recurring dataset we have on what PC gamers are actually using. Dismissing it entirely is just as flawed as cherry picking it.
As for AMD “selling more”...you’re mixing volume and revenue. Selling a ton of low margin chips for consoles and handhelds isn’t the same as competing in the discrete GPU space, which is where Nvidia dominates in both mindshare and profit.
Even if the 9060XT on paper looks stronger, like that article suggests, gamers are still going to flock to the 5060. Nvidia means gaming, it’s been that way since the start. Whether they’re technically better or not doesn’t matter, brand trust and ecosystem win every time.
The RX 6600 being cheap doesn’t automatically make it better value, it’s cheap because it had to be. Nvidia cards, even when priced higher, tend to hold stronger resale value, and carry more consistent performance across a wider range of games. That’s why the 3060 never had to drop below $350 to sell, while AMD had to slash the 6600 to move units.
And as for the 2060 vs. 6600, you just made the point, if a 6GB card from 2019 can tie a newer AMD card, that says more about AMD’s positioning than it does Nvidia’s. Calling that an “Nvidia unboxed moment” just sounds like fanboyish statement.

Sure, if Nvidia had put 12GB on the 3060 Ti it would’ve been a monster, but that’s hindsight. At the time, 8GB was plenty for its performance tier, and the card was still one of the best selling and longest lived GPUs of its generation. That is what makes it a cult card...people bought it anyway because Nvidia has the brand pull and software support to back it.
As for the 9060XT vs 5060...on paper, yeah, it might look like a stronger buy. But history shows most gamers will still grab the 5060. Nvidia is gaming, and that brand trust outweighs spec sheets. Even if AMD drops a decent midrange card, it never sticks in the same way.
And on the “8GB cards are dead” argument, that’s only true at the high end. For mainstream 1080p and even entry 1440p gamers, 8GB cards will keep selling just fine until they jump to 4K. And even then, they wont be buying 16GB 9060s or 5060s, they will jump to the xx70 (Ti) (XT) class cards where more vram is needed.

AMD could've dominated if they made 9060 XT with 16gb the 300 dollar king - they may not have had a huge margin, but they would be eating hard into the Nvidias market share
