Audio is not playing through anything on windows 10

My computer was having an issue with internet. After deducing it was having software issues I restarted it. It has obviously brought back the internet but a new problem arose. The audio has stopped working. I tried troubleshooting this but no luck. I checked the device manager to discover realtek audio drivers arent there but only xsplit audio render remained which doesnt work as an audio driver. I then went and looked up drivers to install for my pc. installed some new realtek drivers and rebooted. This didnt solve the issue at all. I went to check to see if it had installed them to the device manager but it hasnt. ive tried installing the drivers and rebooting multiple times but to no avail.
