Your best chance to contract it prior to masking was indoors in a shopping area or other indoor location with people, that's still true, and a cloth mask is unable to filter airesiols. Stop listening to figureheads and start listening to actual doctors in the field.

Masks serve the same purpose a placebo does to a hypocondiact. Aka it makes you feel better, with minimal effort but is mostly useless.

Yes, there is strong evidence of aerosol transmission. Which in no way invalidates masks as one of the most useful tools we have for slowing direct person to person infections. This is a numbers game. We don't stop policing just because we can't prevent all crime. We don't stop wearing seat belts just because people still do get injured in car crashes.
