"Musk’s company is intent on launching hundreds of micro-satellites that would operate in low orbit around the world. SpaceX is already in the early stages of development and according to Musk, it’ll result in fast, cheap global Internet for the masses".

Well, why the hell not. It's high time we had a lot of private 'space junk' in orbit. I hope Google will make provisions for steering these satellites around the massive amount of junk that's already in orbit, courtesy of the 'space race'.

I take it that these satellites won't be large enough to see from the ground? Because Google will be missing out on valuable ad space if they're not.

Wait, I've got it. Have panels fold out...(y)But instead of the normal solar collectors, they'll be billboards!

So, will these satellites be the size of say......., (wait for it)........'muskmelons'...?*nerd*

I just hope the quality of signal is better and more dependable than our current satellite/cable providers ... and at a truly reasonable cost! Otherwise we'll all end up looking like the Hairy Robb Lowe!
