Help to format win me..uggg

I am trying to format and install win 98 on a win ME pc. I cant seem to change the boot sequence to boot from CD or Floppy. I can just go to C drive and format either. HELP!

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

In order to change the boot sequence, you will have to go into your bios setup.

To install Windows 98 go to http://www.bootdisk.com/ and download a 98 boot disk. Put it on a floppy.

There is only one small problem!
You can not install 98 over ME, that would be DOWNgrading which is not possible.
You'd need to wipe/format the ME installation first, then install 98.
