How do I get rid of RedOrbit?

There is one website I access that has RedOrbit popups that Firefox isn't blocking. Any solutions? Besides not going to that website I mean?

Please post a HijackThis log as an attachment into this thread (as per these instructions). Then we can see what your system's infected with to try to remove it.

As for the popups at the site you visit, you should be able to tell Firefox not to allow them. Or, you can install the Adblock add-on.

Hi Howard. I did as you asked and the file smartquote.exe came out clean.

Have you managed to block the Redorbit popup?

Yeah, I've gotten rid of Red Orbit, but casalmedia and some others are still getting through, and some web pages won't load unless I deactivate adblock. Oh well, I guess that's part of web surfing.
