How to remove the after effects of sal.xls.exe?

it makes a file autorun.inf in each and every logical drive and is not visible even if the "Show hidden folders" is ticked.Due to it if I double click on a drive it asks me that " Through which application do I want to open that drive (Open with Dialog Box )

I am running win xp

I have removed the virus with all the virus scanners is used zone alarm nod32 and even avast all removed the virus completely but I keep facing these problems

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Also, let me know the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.
