My Epson C60 printer took a dump on me, and I need to print some info. I hooked up my old HP Laserjet Series II to my XP system, and found a driver on the XP install disk.
I never restarted the computer after installing the driver, just shut it down. Now, I keep getting DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL, and the computer keeps trying to reboot. I managed to disable the reboot, and the error occurs with the si3r112r.sys file.
I'm assuming that the HP driver is loading into the same paghe of memory, and causing the hang up. Running in safe mode gets me to the net. I had a similar problem with video drivers before.
how can I find the name of the driver and registry entries to completely wipe out the driver?
Thanks in advance for the help.
