I've received this error message several times over the past couple of days which seems to be hand in hand with my internet explorer stating that my web pages can not be displayed... I have previously installed comodo firewall onto my computer could this be giving me issues...

iexporer.exe
The instruction at "0x7473c7d6" referenced memory at "0x000000f2". The memory could not be "read".

Reported fix:
Click on Tools Menu and open Manage Ad-ons...then, select Yahoo! Toolbar and disabled it.

Also can be any other ActiveX addon in IE
If you not sure uninstall/disable all the addons!

That'll fix it

I don't have Yahoo! Toolbar installed and if I uninstall my ActiveX addons won't I have to just reinstall them again anyways for certain things to work? Like it feels like that'd just be a waste of effort....

If you uninstall all the addons
Then test, and confirm it is working without fault

Then go to any page that installs the ActiveX again (automatically on prompt)
And just re-install them

The case being here, that one of your ActiveX pluggins are unknowingly corrupt

There is another alternative (there's always another alternative!)
Run this command (Start->Run) "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -extoff
This will start IE with no-addons
If that works, then continue with the normal removal of IE addons.
