Latitude C600 CPU

I was informed by member Paragon33 of the option to run a 1 GHz Pentium 3 chip if I had one of two boards as options, I had removed my keyboard and palm rest the other night and wondered is there is any marking to tell which board, like a revision number perhaps. I assume 850 chip will work on either. Thanks in advance,
