My computer won't turn on!

Hello. I'm having a very weird issue with my laptop. I put my laptop into standby when I was using it earlier because I was moving it from one location to another and I was going to be using it in the other location. When I tried to power on my laptop, it wouldn't power on! Nothing was wrong with the laptop when I had used it earlier; I was on the internet with it and I even used it during one of my classes at college. I tried holding down the power button for a minute without the battery or power cord in, but nothing! Is there anything I can do?

UPDATE: The laptop is dead ; gonna back up my data and get an RMA

Yeah; I sent it out to the OEM to get it repaired with the RMA, but knowing them (their warranty and customer support are TERRIBLE), I'm already planning on getting a new laptop by January

It was an expensive lesson learned
