Quelle Surprise! nVidia releases yet another dogsh1t card at a ludicrous price in the 50-series omnishambles. Still at least nVidia drivers are always really good...

It’s clear that you can’t use high-resolution textures on an 8GB GPU without running into limitations. However, you can likely find settings that allow you to play games at good quality even with an 8GB card. The hardware feels unbalanced: a powerful GPU with fast memory, but lacking the capacity to fully realize its potential today, let alone be future-proof.
