Is it in your gift basket? Or your game collection? Currently can't trade games that you've 'claimed' - they need to be in gift basket.

If you could do this then they'd never sell anything. People would just hand games off to each other non-stop and we'd never see the wonderful Steam Sales that happen at least twice a year.

True, however Valve is working (slowly as hell) on getting some sort of lending system. If you own a digital copy of a game then you should be able to borrow it to friends as much as you want...but you have a point, which is also the reason for why they are putting so little effort in to it.

Good point, Steam is such good value its a non existent feature that I have not used anyway
