The Best PC Monitors - 2025 Update: Productivity, Creative Work, and Top Enthusiast Picks

Not a good roundup without including 5K 16:10 monitors IMO.
I personally wouldn’t buy anything but 5120x2880. Or even 6K 16:10 as another option.

I have a 32" 1440p screen. My eyes aren't so great and while 1440 looks better than 1080 to me on a monitor this size, 4K does not. The only difference is that 4K is more expensive.
A screen that's a lot bigger than what I currently have would make 4K useful for me.
So...when in doubt go look at actual monitors and compare sizes and resolutions before actually ordering.

5K monitors with a true 5120 × 2880 resolution are almost exclusively in the 27-inch form factor, like Apple's Studio Display, and some LG and Asus models. I have to assume you're a Mac user because that seems to be a segment very much aimed at Mac pros.

This roundup favored 32-inch monitors which I agree with really, and there are some exceptional options here like the ProArt Display 32” 4K HDR QD-OLED.

For 6K/32" there's only two options I could find, Dell's U3224KB and Apple's Pro which is $5000+.

The “budget” option is $329.00 LOL…you’re kidding right?

Gaming on an LG 4K w/HDR is plenty sufficient for $250-$300.00. Granted, it’s 60Hz but I think we’re getting spoiled with the current offerings +60Hz that are now available.

No, our main budget pick, the MSI MAG 275QF, is actually $180, as explained in the recommendation. It’s just gone out of stock at Amazon and Newegg, so the system pulled pricing from a third-party seller. It’s not worth buying at that inflated price, but we do offer other alternatives in the budget category if the MSI is unavailable in your region.

Is NEC any good anymore? I remember they were the standard for color accuracy and build quality in the CRT and early LCD days.
