I saw another forum about this, but my problem was not the same and was not solved by what was said there.
When I try to run any game (from Thief to Soldat to World of Warcraft) It says "Unable to start 3d acceleration! make sure that you have DirectX 9.0c installed and your latest drivers." I have an old graphics card and the latest drivers...and it worked last night...
