Encoding Performance

The NUC6i7KYK makes for an impressive little encoding machine. Using HandBrake we were able to render at 198fps making it 9% faster than the Asrock DeskMini and 20% faster than the MSI Cubi 2 Plus.

The NUC6i7KYK dominated the x264 HD Benchmark, here it was 32% faster than the Asrock DeskMini for the first past test and 23% faster in the second pass test.

Finally, we have TMPGEnc Video Master Works and here the NUC6i7KYK took just 298 seconds to complete the workload, or 7% faster than the Asrock DeskMini and 38% faster than the MSI Cubi 2 Plus.
