Benchmarks: Gears of War 4, Titanfall 2, Civilization VI, Call of Duty: Infinite

Gears of War 4 is an Nvidia-sponsored DX12 title so this helps the 1060 hang in there with the 570. Overall performance was much the same on both graphics cards at 1080p, though the RX 570 did pull ahead at 1440p.

Titanfall 2 is an AMD special though it has to be said I was expecting the RX 570 to be more than 5% faster than the GTX 1060 here. Still both maintained over 60 fps at all times when playing at the 1080p resolution.

We see yet another close battle in Civilization VI. This time the RX 570 was 6% faster at 1080p, though this only accounted for a 4 fps advantage. I should note that the minimum frame rate performance was much the same, in fact the GTX 1060 was 1 fps faster.

Like Titanfall 2, Call of Duty Infinite Warfare is another title that leans in favor of AMD and it really shows as the RX 570 was a massive 16% faster than the 1060 at 1080p and here the 570's minimum frame rate was greater than the 1060's average – a strong win for AMD.
