BCCode 3b

Me too, once the ram is ruled out as a problem I will feel better about getting a new card as I will know that is most likely the problem and not so much a guess like with my new power supply. lol

I had a Blue screen with BCCode 50 yesterday and a just got a BCCode 3b now
the 022715 is the BCCode 50
the 022815 is the BCCode 3b

From Microsoft:

Cause
Bug check 0x50 usually occurs after the installation of faulty hardware or in the event of failure of installed hardware (usually related to defective RAM, be it main memory, L2 RAM cache, or video RAM).

Another common cause is the installation of a faulty system service.

Antivirus software can also trigger this error, as can a corrupted NTFS volume.

I did a check disk to see if the hard drive was the problem but it came back with nothing wrong. I think next weekend I will be able to get a new video card and hope that fixes the problem.

What is the make and model of the C drive? These BBCODES point to the hard or boot drive or in this case an errant bios setting. Are you over-clocking?

My C drive is a Seagate, ST500DM002-1BD142 500GB. I also have a second HD that I just use to store media files like video or music nothing is installed on it. It is a Samsung HD154UI 1.5TB. I am not overclocking anything. Is there a way to determine the bios setting that is messed up?

That Seagate drive is pretty old now. I have 3 of them, and a Seagate 2TB in a RAID 5 array. One of the 500GB drives is bad and it is marked so. All the 500's are over 4 years old now. Have you checked for a bios update?

Wow 4 years old. I didn't realize I got it so long ago. There is an update but I'm not even sure how to update my bios lol.

I figured it out. Its updated now :) I'm booted up and back so I guess that means I didn't mess it up lol Maybe tomorrow I will go buy a new HDD and have to spend the day installing all my stuff again. Does a format effect the bios version?

I got another Blue screen 50 error. With BlueScreenView it points to ntoskrnl.exe wich is for RAM isn't it? With more research I saw people saying sometimes a driver will cause the viewer to blame the RAM because its being used right as the RAM so it looks like a ram failure. I ran driver verify but not sure how to use very well and it didn't cause a blue screen on the next start up.

Ntoskrnl.exe points to the hard drive being corrupted or bad. It can loosely indicate a bad driver

I guess memtest doesn't check video card RAM. I did run a hard disk scan to check for bad sectors and found none but at this point I wish I could just replace my whole system but Im broke lol

Ntoskrnl.exe is a core Windows driver. In my experience I found that when a core Windows driver is cited that they are telling that there is an issue, but that they are not the issue itself, and rarely lends itself to telling what the true problem is (there are a few exceptions).

Can you borrow another video card from a friend, install it, and see if the issues persist?

My friend has his old card from when he upgraded (better than my current one). He is going to give it to me whenever the next time I can get to his house. I'm hoping that will solve my problems.

I put a new video card in(AMD Sapphire HD 7950) and my games run better and I haven't got any new blue screens since I put it in 3 days ago so I'm hopeful. The only weird thing is I had my screen go crazy. I attached a pic I took with my phone when it happened a 2nd time. First time it happened I just I closed a game and the 2nd time I alt tabbed out of it.

Yes I did. I uninstalled the Nvidia drivers then replaced the card and installed the new Drivers. Is there a chance some leftover driver files that didn't get uninstalled or deleted are messing with the new video card?

Is this only occurring when you game? Look in Device Driver and tell us if there is a yellow exclamation mark concerning video card drivers.

It has only happened twice but both times was during or existing game No yellow exclamation mark on my video card or on anything but "Other devices > Unknown device"
