Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 Review: Next-Gen GPU Monster

Yeah, I saw those. Still, I don't think this is going to be a $500 GPU. It's performing somewhere between a 3080 and 3090Ti. I'm hoping it comes in below $800, $750 would be a good start.
Hmm, so a 3080ti. For $800...In 2023...
I never felt so turned unexcited about making a new PC.
Motherboards for 300, GPUs for 1000. It kinda feels like the only decent
part you can purchase is a CPU.

If your primary use is gaming grab a sub $200 B760 motherboard and locked cpu. The are due for release January 3rd.

I never get the cheapest stuff. It's just right now stuff I usually got is hundredths and hundredths more. I will probably overspend and not upgrade in many years again.
It was normal before covid, and now it is all gone...

I hear you. Some prices are coming down but GPUs aren’t. At least not for Nvidia.

As I mentioned in a prior post, maybe we all just have to accept that having the top of the line components isn’t necessary and we can get by with one tier below or last Gen parts.

I'm just here trying to figure out how you are getting those HUNT: Showdown numbers. My 4090 OC from Gigabyte is right in line with averages, or slightly above in 3dMark but my average fps at high 1440p in HUNT is your 1% lows...Any thoughts? What exactly are your settings?

Running DDR5 and a 7950x
