Ryzen 3 vs. Ryzen 5 vs. Ryzen 7 vs. Ryzen 9

I would never go higher than a 3700x for a pure gaming system. Some might argue that the 3600 gives same performance at a better price and while that is true, the two extra cores on the 3700x might prove useful for future-proofing.

That is of course, if you are like me and don't upgrade your hardware until it really becomes a necessity.

I really would like to give AMD my money, but looks like I will be sticking with my 8700K for a few more years at minimum, as someone who mostly cares about mostly gaming performance.
