Samsung Galaxy Note from AT&T launching on Feb 19 for $300

AT&T has announced that the Samsung Galaxy Note will be available for purchase starting February 19. Available in carbon blue and ceramic white, the Note will set buyers back $299.99 when purchased with a two-year service agreement.

“The Galaxy Note brings a new level of efficiency to busy customers who would normally rely on multiple devices,” said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president, Devices, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets. “This new breed of smartphone helps consumers accomplish more with a single device than ever before. The unique all-in-one experience can simplify daily life while tapping into AT&T’s 4G LTE network to let customers work even faster.”

The Samsung Galaxy Note for AT&T was first introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this month. The hybrid phone includes a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor operating at 1.5GHz, a 5.3-inch 1280 x 800 Super AMOLED HD display, an 8MP rear-racing camera with 1080p HD video recording capability and a digital stylus known as the S Pen.

The phone is largely unchanged from the international version that has been available for a few months except for the addition of a 4G chip that works on AT&T’s LTE network. Wi-Fi b/g/n and GPS also come standard.

AT&T’s press release also points out several accessories that will be made available alongside the Galaxy Note LTE. These include a desktop dock, a spare battery charging system, a protective flip cover case available in multiple colors and an S Pen holder kit that allows for a more comfortable grip of the stylus when using.

Those anxious to get their hands on the massive smartphone can place a pre-order starting February 5 online or at any AT&T company-owned retail store. Pre-orders are expected to arrive by February 17, two days before the in-store launch.

It makes the phone slower as well since that snapdragon isn't as snappy as a exynos

Since it has the Wacom tablet screen, it would be neat to tether to PC and make use of it like the Razer Blade laptop secondary screen or just a Wacom tablet with built in display. Drag Photoshop over to the little window.

The LTE version of the Galaxy S2 use the same snapdragon that it slower. Look up the AT&T Skyrocket.

The LTE version of the Galaxy S2 use the same snapdragon that it slower. Look up the AT&T Skyrocket.

I was looking more for information compairing the processors. Here's something I foundt thought...
