Hi basically, my brothers computer came up with a good dozen error messages a few days ago, and rather than writing them down and research them he done a clean install of windows, he installed drivers from the PC manufacturer disk and was fine, now last night he went to turn on the pc.. and basically after loading the bios just before hitting the XP symbol in load up.. it freezes on a black page, the computer nor monitor turns off it basically look likes the computer is thinking but not responding no matter how long the system is left it never ever progresses past this black screen.
