While he's offering a literal D-measuring competition with Mark Zuckerberg
Why it matters: Elon Musk must be pretty stressed right now. In between training for a possible cage fight with Mark Zuckerberg (or a literal "measuring" contest) and watching Twitter rival Threads become the fastest-growing app of all time, the world's richest man is suing the law firm that represented Twitter while he was trying to get out of the $44 billion buyout.
The Woz sees similarities between Musk and Steve Jobs
What just happened? People's opinion of Elon Musk tends to be split between those who love him and those who hate the billionaire. It appears that Steve Wozniak is closer to the latter camp. The Apple co-founder said Musk and Tesla "robbed" his family of money over false claims about the EV company's self-driving technology. "A lot of honesty disappears when you look at Elon Musk and Tesla," said Wozniak.
The former Microsoft boss did have some good things to say about Musk, though
What just happened? Bill Gates and Elon Musk are two of the wealthiest people in the world, but they certainly don't see eye to eye. The pair have had public spats in the past, and now the former Microsoft boss has taken a shot at Musk's ambitions for sending missions to and colonizing Mars, saying he would rather pay for vaccines than travel to the red planet.
It was supposed to "portray what was possible to build the system"
WTF?! Remember the video Tesla released in 2016 that showed off the Autopilot driver-assist system, including its ability to stop at a red traffic light and move away once it turned green? According to Ashok Elluswamy, Tesla's director of Autopilot software, the video was staged.
What just happened? Elon Musk is often referred to as the richest person in the world, but not everyone agrees that he currently holds the title. According to Forbes, the Twitter boss has been overtaken on the rich list by Bernard Arnault, who is now number one with a $187.5 billion fortune.
A hot potato: As Elon Musk reduces Twitter's content moderation to make the platform a bastion of free speech while also cutting its workforce, one of the European Union's top officials has warned the billionaire could be inadvertently helping Vladimir Putin by not removing Russian propaganda relating to the war in Ukraine.
